QUEBEULS
Quebeuls is the artistic name of French visual artist Pierre Faye.
Based in the Southern French Alps, his practice spans drawing, sculpture, comics, digital painting and immersive installations.
His work explores the emergence of meaning from chance, the construction of imaginary worlds and the relationship between landscape and narrative.
Tremini has become the central project of his artistic practice, bringing together decades of research into perception, visual storytelling and contemporary digital art.

I began my career in the field of comics, with the publication of the two-volume series Les Croquignards (2008, 2010), before expanding my practice toward illustration and historical research projects, notably with the illustrated book Empreintes (2017). Over time, my work has evolved toward more open and experimental forms: large-scale landscape illustrations, site-specific creations, sound and sculptural installations, participatory projects, and immersive environments.

Several key projects structure this trajectory, including:
– Les Fantômes de la Roche-de-Rame
– L’Alphabet de l’eau
– Tremini
-Entre l’arbre et l’écorce

Since 2019, I have been a member of the Hydre network, which brings together visual artists from the Hautes-Alpes region, with whom I have developed exhibitions and cultural initiatives.
