Tremini and NFT

NFTs and the Tremini project: an ethical and participatory approach

The use of NFTs within the Tremini project does not follow a speculative or commercial logic.
They are conceived as tools for support, participation, and documentation of the creative process, fully aligned with the artistic intentions of the project.

The Baladins of Tremini

Holders of Tremini NFTs are referred to as Baladins of Tremini.

The term evokes wandering, exploration, and an active relationship to the artwork.
A Baladin is neither a landowner nor an investor, but a companion to a long-term artistic process.

General principle

  • Tremini is a monumental digital artwork divided into 16 major sections.
  • Some of these sections, or fragments extracted from them, may give rise to unique NFTs.
  • Each NFT corresponds to a real working area, taken from the global image, and contributes directly to the project’s advancement.

The NFT thus becomes a production tool, not merely a collectible item.

The role of NFTs in the creative process

When an NFT is created:

  • it originates from a fragment extracted from the global image,
  • this fragment is reworked, refined, or expanded,
  • and then reintegrated into the complete artwork.

Each NFT documents a specific moment in the ongoing creation of Tremini.

Rights and commitments

A Tremini NFT:

  • grants no intellectual property rights over the artwork,
  • grants no commercial exploitation rights,
  • does not represent ownership of land, narrative elements, or symbolic territory.

The Tremini project is registered and protected.
Any use of the images for training generative AI systems is strictly prohibited.

What being a Baladin provides

Holding a Tremini NFT grants access to:

  • creation journal documenting the project’s evolution,
  • private discussion space (dedicated Discord server),
  • early information about upcoming stages,
  • opportunities to engage in dialogue around the project.

These modalities may evolve as the project progresses.

A support-based, non-speculative economy

Tremini NFTs are designed as:

  • direct support for artistic creation,
  • a way to secure working time,
  • a complementary funding tool alongside institutional support.

Funds generated are reinvested into the project, primarily as working time and production resources.

Speculation is neither encouraged nor promoted, even though resale remains technically possible.

A long-term artistic endeavor

Tremini is conceived as a project spanning approximately fifteen years.
NFTs accompany this extended temporality by highlighting stages, fragments, and moments within the broader creative journey.
